Pets at Peace

Welcome to Pets at Peace New Zealand website.

We’ve all experienced the loss of a beloved fur-friend.  That faithful, loyal and trusting companion who completed our lives in ways no words could ever explain.

Our pets have become so much more than just an ‘accessory’, or necessary creature to keep us safe or assist in our daily lives.  For many of us our pets are now an extension of the family unit.  We plan our daily life and vacations around them and are now giving them the respect and consideration they deserve.lavendar

The final goodbye can be traumatic and stressful, particularly for younger children who often develop much closer bonds with animals.  It is also and opportunity to teach a young child about grief and loss.  For us, it was the loss of daughter’s beloved guinea pig.  She was inconsolable until we had a ‘funeral’.  We had to settle for a cardboard box, lined with tissues and some carrot and lettuce.  With her passion for her piggy, a lasting memorial would have been so much better as she grieved for over 2 years and still, many years later, feels sad at his passing.

Our range of urns for cremations gives you the opportunity to create an everlasting memory of your fur-baby.  From elegant urns to traditional timber to ornamental urns, the choice is yours.  We are constantly looking to increase our range so if you have something more specific in mind, feel free to let us know and we’ll do our best to source it for you.
